Prevention of these complications in diabetic patients is currently done through two classes of drugs; Unfortunately, despite the production of these drugs by domestic companies, insurance companies have not covered these drugs. One of the main concerns of people with type 2 diabetes is the prevention of cardiovascular events among patients with diabetes. Patients with type 2 diabetes are 2 to 4 times more likely than others to develop cardiovascular disease such as heart attack or stroke, heart failure and stroke accidents such as stroke. These patients are also more likely to develop kidney failure.
